CELLutions is ADCB's latest initiative to make banking simple and convenient for our valued customers. In today's busy and hectic world, time and distance need to be managed and if necessary even bridged by whatever means possible.
Put simply, CELLutions is our cellphone banking product that makes banking not only a pleasure, but also imparts value to our relationship.
"CELLutions" will assist you to conduct basic banking enquiries, and bring banking at your fingertips. It is very simple to operate. Just activate the SMS (Short Messaging Service) function on your cellphone and compose a short text message using preset keywords, and within a few seconds, your account information flashes on your cell screen. CELLutions Banking enables you to access basic banking information from virtually anywhere and you will experience ease, speed and convenience while banking with us.
Presently, this service is available for customers banking with ADCB Bombay and Bangalore branch.
Functionalities
Cellphone banking enables you to obtain basic account related information at your instance any time by using simple key words in your short text messages and transmitting them to cell number 9821611111 – SMS number for ADCB's cellphone banking.
(Please note cellphone banking is presently available to customers banking with Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Bombay branch).

How to Operate
How to Operate and receive the requisite information?
CELLutions - Cellphone banking of ADCB is easy to operate and most convenient as it can be conducted with normal SMS codes using specific keywords for each function as per your choice.
Kindly note before you compose the short text messages.
- Typing the keyword (shown in capital letters) is mandatory.
- Suffixes shown in < > are optional.
- However, suffices shown in ( ) are mandatory.
- All enquiries should be directed through SMS (Short Messaging Service) only.
- Activation of the service will be informed on your mobile number by the Bank, after completing the registration formalities.
- To view Account Balances
Keyword ADCBBAL
- e.g. ADCBBAL SB444444
If you want to find out the balance in you specific account number, the keyword should be followed by the specific account number.
Message/Received - Balance in [Account] is [Amount] (Clear), [Amount] (Under Clearing}
- To verify the Last 5 Transactions
Keyword ADCBTXN (Account No.)
- e.g. ADCBTXN SB444444
Message/Received - [Account No.] [currency]
- [Txn Date] [Particulars] [Amount][C/D]
- ...
The message will display particulars of last 5 transactions, in your account.
- To ascertain the status of cheque issued by you,
Keyword ADCBCHQ (cheque no.)
- e.g. ADCBCHQ 123456
Message/Received - Chq No [xxxxxxx] for [Amount] debited to [Account No.] on [Debit Date DD/MM/YYYY]
The message will reveal the status of the particular cheque number whether paid /unpaid or dishonoured.
- To requisition cheque book
Keyword ADCBREQ (account no.)
- e.g. ADCBREQ SB444444
You can requisition the cheque book through this function (cheque book will be mailed to your present address).
Message/received - Your Request for Cheque Book for [account no] has been received. Please Quote the Ref.No. [No.]
- To get Term Deposit details
Keyword ADCBFD
- e.g. ADCBFD 987654
You can enquire the details of the term deposit/s including its maturity date.
Message received :
- [Product code] [Receipt no.] [Principal.Amount] [Currency] @ [int.rate]% maturing on [maturity date]
- Similarly: for other FDs
(If you use Keyword ADCBFD, you will receive details of all your deposits with us)
- To verify stocks in DP account.
Keyword ADCBDP (ISIN No. or Company Name).
- e.g. ADCBDP INFOSYS or ADCBDP INE009A01021
The message received will display stocks under free and other categories.
- e.g. other category will comprise of shares under lien or pending demat/remat or blocked or/locked.
- To get Loan Details
Keyword ADCBLN
- e.g. ADCBLN 9870
This message conveys the loan balance and other details to you.
Message/received :
- [Account no.] O/S Bal [balance] last int appld [int. amount] due on [date]
- Similarly for other loan accounts
- To Disable the Service
Keyword ADCBDIS
In case you would like to disconnect the services temporarily on your own, you can opt for this function.

The Help menu will detail out the various basic keywords with reference to the basic Pull Options.
- To enquire interest rates on deposits

- e.g. FCNRUSD
- e.g. FCNRGBP
- e.g. FCNREUR
Message received by you will display normal interest rates.
- To enquire foreign exchange rates currency-wise
Keyword ADCBEXCH (choose the currency – USD, GBP, EURO,YEN, CHF, AED)
- e.g. ADCBEXCH GBP- to find out the exchange rate for Great Britain Pounds.
(The exchange rates will be only indicative).
